Employment - Don't Be a Selfish laborer
Hello everybody. Yesterday, I discovered Employment - Don't Be a Selfish laborer. Which may be very helpful for me and also you. Don't Be a Selfish laborerLet's be real, as they say. Our society is selfish. We have been told for the last twenty years or so that "It's all about me!" Look at the way this thinking has manifested in the workplace. Enron, Aig Bernie Madoff, Unions forcing the closure of Auto manufacturing that had been in company for over 100 years. Why?
What I said. It isn't in conclusion that the real about Employment. You check this out article for facts about a person need to know is Employment.Employment
People have lost the attitude of service. We craft our resumes in such a way as they come across as "Look at me aren't I great?" when they should show how our skills, abilities and personalities offer service and contribution. Often times the very first thing a potential manager reads, after the name, is an objective that states something like, "Seeking a position with a progressive assosication with advancement opportunity."
Why would an manager want to hire man with such a self serving attitude? The truth is if you are good at your job and have a loyalty to your company, you will be recognized and promoted. Does this all the time happen? No. But if you do your homework on the company you are applying to you can find out about how promotions work before you interview for the job.
There seems to be this prevailing attitude in the workplace that says "I'm going to get mine and screw you!" What's absolutely sad about this is that it is a direct reflection of the current American attitude at large. It's reflected in all things from the Tv shows we watch to the music we listen to. Selfishness is the order of the day.
So how do we convert this? Try doing things the way your Grandparents did. I'm not saying we need to go back to the good ol' days, but I am saying that we need to look at the historic success that our grand parents enjoyed in the work place.
Our Grandparents offered their company loyalty, and 8 hours of hard work for 8 hours of pay. They realized that they approved an whole of money for their time and made that money work. If the whole they were paid didn't work for them they looked for another position that paid best or renegotiated their pay scale. What they didn't do was slack off or get even by performing substandard work or defrauding the employer.
There will all the time be companies that take benefit of their work force. But an employee with integrity will recognize this and get straight through it. Take pride in your work. Be a expert at anything level you are working at. If you are dissatisfied, convert jobs or discuss it with your employer. What every you do, don't be selfish. Remember, you approved the job and told your manager that you would accomplish your duties to the best of your ability. Be a man of your word.
I hope you get new knowledge about Employment. Where you may put to easy use in your life. And most importantly, your reaction is passed about Employment.
